Queen of Angels Students Perform Original Play

The 7th-10th graders performed a first-run of an original play, The Advent of the Magi, written by Fr. Purdy.  The play is a truly unique take on the Advent theme, taking viewers back to the story of Daniel and the Israelites in Babylonian captivity.  How was it that the magi at the time of the Nativity knew of the coming Messiah, and the sign of the star?  In dramatic form, The Advent of the Magi tells this back story.

 

The play,co-directed by Ms. Fred and Mrs. Sastoque, was a tremendous success.  Congratulations to all involved!
